A case review of Mixed Gonadal Dysgenesis

Abstract

|
A rare case of 46 XY, Mixed Gonadal Dysgenesis who showed phenotypic female was presen ed, and reviewed with literatures. The syndrome of mixed gonadal dysgenesis is characterized by a unil? teral abnormal testis, a streak gonad on the contralateral side, and patent Miillerian structures.
It is suggested that patients with Mixed Gondal Dysgenesis be raised as females. And early removal of gonad will prevent the development of gonadoblastoma and dysgerminoma.
